David Heenan

After NHS was 4 years at William & Mary, and upon graduation I did some graduate work at PSU, where I caught up with Paul, Jerry & Dean, among others. We had many good times together in those days. But I was quickly drafted for a couple of years in the Army. Most of my time was with the U.S. Army Computer System Command at Fort Hood, TX (yes, I missed going to Viet Nam), and on many weekends I traveled to Dallas to hang with Jerry. I'll let him tell the tales, but it was a lot of fun.

Eventually finished up my masters at PSU in Computer Science, and tired of the cold and snow, I headed West to
California in 1971 and have basically been here ever since.

During '73 & '74 I traveled throughout the US, Europe & Northern Africa doing my hippie thing, and the highlight was meeting my future wife in Spain. Betty eventually met up me again in California, and we've been married ever since with one son who is about to graduate f
