Edgar Fulmor

After high school graduation, I attended Davis & Elkins College for 2.5 years and after a year off, transfered to Tennessee Technological University. I graduated in 1969 with John Wichelman and Bob Cummings after rooming with Bob for a year or so. After graduation, I went to work at Bristol-Myers Squibb, 15 years in the pre-clinical research and 20 years in the clinical research portions of the company. I married Ruthann in 1970 and we bought a stone farmhouse built in 1790 just outside of Newtown, PA. Our son Chad is married and has twin boys, 3.5 years old, and lives nearby in Wyncote, PA. Our daughter Amanda is married and currently lives in London, England with plans to move back to San Francisco in a year or two.

My hobbies are restoring our farm house and having fun with my older cars, a '65 Mustang Fastback and a '84 Corvette, and my motorcycles, a '70 Triumph Bonneville and a '01 Kawasaki Vulcan.

I retired in 2007 and recently traveled to Alaska for a two week land and sea excursion. After not getting out of the Langhorne-Newtown area except for company trips for many years, we were fortunate to be able to visit England, France, Italy and Hawaii in the last several years.

We enjoy a week or two at the Ocean City, NJ shore each summer and visiting friends in Bethany Beach, Delaware. We are looking forward to future trips through the western portion of the US in the next few years.

I don't have any special school stories to tell (at least none that I can tell) but I must say I enjoyed our school years very much. The great friends I made over the years and the fun we had together (does anyone remember the pond parties we had on my parents farm?) will always be great memories.
