In Memory

Peter Foreman

Peter Alden Foreman of the class of 63, passed away Sept 4, 2008 after a year long battle with ALS. Peter was an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church. He has been a pastor for over 30 years. Peter graduated from The College of New Jersey (B.A.), Bethel Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Princeton Theological Seminary (Th. M.) and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (Dr. of Ministry). Peter was also a decorated Army officer serving in combat in Vietnam (1969-1970). It is believed his combat duty was responsible for the ALS. He leaves behind three grown sons (Brendan, Bryan, and Bradley) and myself, his wife of 42 years. Peter touched the lives of hundreds of people with compassion, the love of God, and a quest for excellence in all things. He always spoke fondly of his years at Neshaminy High and the good educational foundation it gave him as well the friends he made. May your reunion be filled with joy and celebration as you remember the past, rejoice in the present, and look forward to the future. -- Maggie Foreman

Maggie,

Fred (Weaver) and I (Cynthia Winder Weaver) desire to express our deepest sympathy over Pete's passing. So very long ago were our PCB days together!

This was the first time I looked at my high school web site and couldn't believe your comment regarding Pete. I have ALS, symptoms beginning in 2003 and formally diagnosed in 2005, and in 2007 went on disability, spending my days now writing.

I've kept in contact with Dorothy Vignali Schell, former roommate and good friend. Feel free to keep in contact with us both. Cynthia
