Owen L. Wiley of Morrisville died Friday, March 31, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital for Neurosciences in Philadelphia. He was 71. Born in Trenton, Owen was raised in Langhorne and graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1963. He worked as a lineman for Philadelphia Electric Company on the Penndel and Newtown platforms for 32 years until retiring as a supervisor in 1995. Owen was a proud U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Fallsington United Methodist Church. An avid outdoors man, Owen was a member of the Woodbourne Rod and Gun Club where he served as President and was a hunting safety course instructor. He was also a member of the Woodtown Game Club in Pike County. Owen enjoyed gardening and reading. Owen is survived by his wife of 20 years, Amy L. Wiley; his son, Brian Wiley; stepsons, Chad Shaffer (Joy) and Adam Shaffer (Rachael); four grandchildren, Ellen, Owen, Wyatt and Josiah; and other extended family.
