Comments:
After graduation I stayed in the area for 1 year working and saving money for college. In June of 1964 I moved to Traverse City Mi and attended a Junior College. There I met my wife (Esther)and got married in August of 1965. We have now been married for 43 years. We have two children and 3 grandchildren with our daughter Julie expecting her 2nd in December.
I spent 3 years in the Army and Esther and I lived in Munich Germany for about 1 year. Then uncle sam decided in needed me in Vietnam whereI spent a year.
After getting out of the service I landed in Lansing Mi and returned to college. I also entered into Law Enforcement and spent most of my career as a patrol officer, detective then Det/Lt. After I retired I started teaching at Lansing Community College in both the Police Academy and in the academic area. I currently teach 2 on line classes and 2 F2F classes, both in the area of forensic sceience and criminal investigations.
I have my own investigative/security business which keeps me quite busy. I work for a company who owns property and apartment complexes from Northern Michigan, to Ind. Tenna. Ky and Al. I'm on the road alot when I'm not teaching.
Esther and I enjoy traveling and most recently toured the great western part of our country. We also went back to Europe and visited several of he countries we weren't able to see while in the service. Our next trip will be a cruise of Alaska.
